Affordable apartments a hit in Mascot

FIRST  home buyers and budget-driven investors are being given a helping hand with the launch of a new residential project in Mascot.

Parc Mascot offers buyers a mix of studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments with prices starting at just $510,000.

Ray White Erskineville’s Matt Otway said the affordable price range was intentionally set.

“We looked at the market in conjunction with the developer and we thought there was a fair bit of stock in that area, so what we looked to do was focus on high quality finishes at a reasonable price,” Mr Otway said.

The units will span from 36sqm to 88sqm internally.

“The apartments are a bit smaller and we reflect that in the price,” he said.

“The difference there being that we have high quality finishes, which makes the pricing competitive.”

The finishes will include stone benchtops and Miele appliances in the kitchens.

Mr Otway said almost half of the development has sold in just two weeks.

There will be just 18 apartments in the block.
